I need a currently registered New York attorney to help an LLC recover $2,023.68 paid to a vendor for services at two properties in Nassau County. No service was performed at either property, and no refund has been received.
First phase: review the payment records, confirm the right Nassau County court route, and prepare and send a lawyer's demand letter if appropriate.
The demand letter should also request copies of any service records the vendor claims to have (NY requires pesticide applicators to keep 3 years of records).
Quote a fixed price for that phase with exactly what's included and turnaround. Separately quote any court filing or appearance. Include your full legal name and NY attorney registration number, Nassau commercial-claims experience, and whether you can appear in Hempstead. Request for quotes only - NY attorney, not a document writer.
