I’m refreshing our on-premises network and want it configured and stress-tested by someone who lives and breathes both infrastructure and security.

First, the infrastructure work:
• Build out the Layer-2 and Layer-3 design—router and switch configuration, IP addressing, VLAN segmentation, and DHCP where required.
• Ensure the new topology is clean and resilient, with clear change notes so I can reproduce or roll back any step.
• Troubleshoot anything that crops up during the cut-over and document the fixes.

Once the cables are tidy and the configs committed, I’ll need you to put on the black hat—legally, of course. Using tools such as Nmap, Nessus, Kali Linux, or your preferred equivalents, perform network scanning, a full vulnerability assessment, and targeted security testing. Try every door and window; I want to see what rattles.

The hand-off must include a detailed report that covers:
• Methodology and scope
• Vulnerabilities discovered (CVSS scores where applicable)
• Proof-of-concept screenshots or packet captures
• Clear, prioritized remediation recommendations

Produce the documentation in an editable format (Word or Markdown) plus any raw scan results. If you can work remotely via VPN, great; otherwise let me know your access requirements and we’ll arrange a secure jump box.

Timing is flexible this week, but once we start I’d like the configuration phase wrapped within three days and the security testing finished two days after that. Let me know what additional information you need—network diagrams, device models, current configs—and your estimated hours for each phase.
