Network Engineer for Secure Proxy & Gateway Architecture

Seeking an experienced network engineer to build and deploy a secure proxy system using 3X-UI (MHSanaei) on a remote server and sing-box on a Raspberry Pi client gateway, featuring automatic protocol failover between VLESS-Reality and Hysteria2.

Tech Stack
Server: 3X-UI (MHSanaei fork)
Client: sing-box on Raspberry Pi

Protocols: Hysteria2, VLESS-Reality

Project Phases
1. Proof of Concept: Set up development client environment, configure remote nodes, and deploy sing-box locally to verify routing and failover.
2. QA Deployment: Deploy a single QA server and connect the Raspberry Pi gateway for real-world testing.
3. Production Deployment: Scale to multiple production server nodes and configure the Raspberry Pi gateways for high availability.

Required Skills
- Strong Linux admin skills (Ubuntu / Raspberry Pi OS, systemd).
- Familiarity with modern tunneling, proxy tools, or custom routing architectures.
- Networking knowledge: iptables, nftables, and setting up transparent proxies / TUN interfaces.
- DevOps experience with infrastructure automation, repeatable deployments, and configuration management across environments.
- Experience installing and managing server control panels or similar web-based management tools on remote servers.
- Experience troubleshooting and deploying networking tools on ARM/Raspberry Pi hardware.
Deliverables & Future Work
- Fully configured 3X-UI servers and optimized Raspberry Pi sing-box configs.
Setup documentation.
- Familiarity or prior experience working within the China tech/network ecosystem is helpful.

Potential for long-term support and maintenance after deployment.
