Neo-Classical Gypsum Ceiling Design – 180m² Residential Home

I’m looking for an architect or interior designer who understands the Palestinian residential and construction context to develop and modify the gypsum ceiling design for an existing 180m² home.

The house already has its architectural layout and general interior direction. The style is Modern Neo-Classical, and the main task is to develop practical and elegant gypsum ceiling solutions that work with the existing spaces.

Palestinian Context Is Important

Preference will be given to designers who have worked on residential projects in Palestine, Jordan, or the wider Arab region, or who are familiar with Palestinian home design and local construction practices.

I am not looking for conceptual designs or unrealistic luxury renders. The design needs to be buildable by local contractors in Palestine, taking into consideration commonly available materials, gypsum-board construction methods, lighting solutions, ceiling heights, proportions, and reasonable execution costs.

Scope of Work

The designer will review the existing drawings and:

Redesign and refine the gypsum ceilings throughout the house.
Adapt the ceiling design to a Modern Neo-Classical style.
Coordinate gypsum details with spotlights, LED strips, chandeliers and other lighting.
Consider AC, electrical and other ceiling-related requirements where relevant.
Avoid unnecessarily complicated or expensive details.
Provide accurate dimensions and levels for execution.
Prepare drawings that a Palestinian contractor can clearly understand and implement.
Suggest practical alternatives where a proposed detail may be difficult or expensive to execute locally.
Deliverables

The final package should include ceiling plans, dimensions and levels, lighting locations, necessary sections/details, PDF drawings for execution, and editable source files (AutoCAD or equivalent).

3D views are welcome where they help communicate the design, but technical accuracy and practical execution are more important than photorealistic rendering.
