Navisworks to DWG 3D Mesh/Solid Conversion for Mining Data

Converted a detailed Navisworks mining model into separate DWG 3D outputs for use in a 3ds Max visual effects pipeline.

The project involved processing and organizing above-ground mining infrastructure, including:

- Mining dumps and pads
- Buildings and process plant
- Open pits
- Existing topography
- Topographic surfaces with pit areas removed
- Separate topographic mesh without pits where technically feasible

The workflow required careful 3D geometry extraction, spatial alignment, model organization, mesh/solid preparation, and DWG export while preserving the original mining site's geometry and relationships.

The final deliverables were structured as separate DWG files so each major component could be independently imported and managed within the client's 3D production workflow.
