I need a concise corporate phone script that will be read by a native-sounding British female voice for our customer-support line. Callers will be phoning with general inquiries rather than technical or billing issues, so the wording has to guide them smoothly from the initial greeting through to either a quick resolution or a polite hand-off to the right department.

The brand voice is formal and professional—think clear, confident and courteous, not chatty—yet it still has to feel welcoming. Please structure the dialogue so that an agent can follow it step by step: opening greeting, caller verification, probing questions, solution or escalation, and a closing statement. Short optional variants for common situations (for example, “caller has no account number”) would be helpful.
