I’m wrapping up production on an entertainment-focused, narrative short film and now need an editor who can turn the raw footage into a tight, emotionally engaging final cut. The footage is already logged and organised; what I’m looking for is someone who can shape the story’s rhythm, refine performances, and give the visuals a consistent look.
You’ll be free to cut in Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut—whichever lets you move fastest—so long as project files stay neatly structured for hand-off. Expect dialogue-driven scenes with a few montage sequences, light sound-design needs, and a runtime that should land around 7–10 minutes once everything flows.
Deliverables
• Locked picture edit ready for colour
• XML/EDL plus all project files and proxies
• Two rounds of revision based on time-stamped notes
As acceptance criteria, the final export should hit 1080p H.264, maintain consistent colour balance across scenes, and keep total runtime within the target window. If you love narrative pacing and know how to make performances pop, let’s talk timelines and get this short polished.
