Musical Theatre Dance Reel Edit
Budget / Salary$30–250

I have raw footage from a recent musical-theatre performance and I want it transformed into a polished dance-reel style promotional video. The final cut should run roughly 60-90 seconds, flowing quickly through the strongest choreography moments while still feeling cinematic and coherent.
What I’ll provide
• Full-length show recording (HD, 1080p)
What I need from you
• Clean, rhythm-driven editing that showcases the best leaps, turns and ensemble patterns
• Creative use of jump-cuts, speed ramps or match-cuts to keep the energy high without looking gimmicky
• Basic colour correction and exposure balancing so every shot feels stage-lit but crisp
• Seamless audio edits that preserve key musical accents while tightening transitions
• Titles at the open and close: show name, role, contact handle
Preferred tools are Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects, but if you’re comfortable in DaVinci Resolve that’s fine—as long as the export is delivered as a high-quality H.264 MP4 plus an editable project file.
Acceptance criteria
• Final reel length 1:00–1:30
• No cut stays on screen longer than 4 seconds unless it’s a featured solo moment
• Audio and video remain perfectly in sync (zero dropped frames)
• Delivered within seven days of project start
If this sounds like your groove, let’s talk and I’ll share the download links right away.
