I’m in post-production on a six-episode, 22-minute-each murder mystery set against the night streets of Mumbai. To secure an OTT slot for a limited December–January release, I need a complete trailer package—one long trailer for platform reviewers and six short teasers for the audience—turned around in roughly a week.
Tone and focus
The material must feel dark and suspenseful throughout. Each cut should highlight the main suspects and the secrets they’re hiding so that, by the final frame, viewers are suspicious of every principal character.
What you’ll receive from me
• A concise story summary to guide structure and pacing
• Original BGM as a WAV file
• Roughly 125–150 high-res clips from all episodes (3–15 s each)
Workflow & deliverables
• First, create a treatment / storyboard for every trailer and share it for sign-off.
• Deliver the 2 ½-minute master trailer for OTT review. I’ll return comments within hours.
• Once that cut is approved, craft six individual teaser trailers, each 30–60 s, and submit them in one batch for final notes.
• Supply exports in both ProRes and H.264 with clean and burnt-in caption tracks; layered project files (Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve) should accompany the finals.
Acceptance criteria
• Mood aligns with the brief’s dark, suspenseful palette.
• Key suspects are introduced without outright spoilers.
• Each teaser ends on a moment that seeds doubt about every character.
• All audio peaks below –1 dBFS and is loudness-matched across assets.
• Final files meet OTT specs for 4K and 1080p delivery.
The deadline is tight, so only editors with proven trailer work and a portfolio of previous mystery or thriller spots should move forward. Send links when you respond; I’ll lock someone in immediately so we can hit the release window.
