I’m ready to take a multi-sport court-booking idea from concept to a live, revenue-generating product and I need a senior full-stack engineer who has already walked this path. The goal is an end-to-end solution that lets players quickly find any type of court—tennis, padel, badminton, football, basketball, or future additions—choose an open slot, pay on the spot, and receive instant confirmation.
Core booking flow
• Players can search courts by location and real-time availability.
• Secure online payments trigger automated inapp/email/SMS confirmations.
• Users may cancel, reschedule, or hop onto a waiting list with penalties or credits handled automatically.
Membership logic
We run on a plan-based model (Basic, Premium, Family, etc.) but need the flexibility to attach individual members to any plan and track their benefits. Cohort-style groups—for example, a seasonal junior academy—must also slot neatly into the database so we can run targeted discounts and reporting.
Technical expectations
• Modern full-stack build (React/Next.js or similar on the front end, Node/Express, Django, or comparable back end).
• Real-time availability engine (WebSockets or Server-Sent Events).
• REST or GraphQL API for a future mobile app.
• Payment gateway integration (Stripe preferred).
• Role-based admin dashboard for club staff.
• CI/CD pipeline and cloud deployment (AWS or GCP).
• Well-documented codebase with unit and integration tests.
