I need a full-stack developer to turn my concept for a comprehensive trading platform into a production-ready web application. The core of the build centres on three main flows—Offers, Exchanges, and Product listings—so users can post an offer, match it through the exchange engine, and browse available products seamlessly within a single interface.
Beyond those pillars, the system must also let traders submit their own requests, stream live market data in real time, and push timely notifications (web and in-app) whenever a price hits a threshold, an order is filled, or a request is answered. My intention is to keep the architecture market-agnostic; whether the instrument is a stock, a cryptocurrency, or a forex pair, the workflow should remain identical.
Key points for the build
• Modular backend (preferably Node.js or similar) so new asset classes plug in without refactoring core logic
• Responsive front-end dashboard that updates live via websockets or a comparable streaming solution
• Secure authentication, user wallets/accounts, and rigorous transaction logging
• Clean API documentation so I can expose offers, exchanges, and product data to future mobile apps
Acceptance criteria
1. A hosted staging site demonstrating Offers, Exchanges, Product listing flows end-to-end
2. Real-time market feed displayed with less than 1-second latency under moderate load
3. Notification system proven by test events (price alerts, order fills, request responses)
4. Postman or Swagger collection covering every public and private endpoint
If you have shipped trading or marketplace platforms before and can show live examples, I’d like to hear how you would structure the project, which tech stack you recommend, and a realistic timeline for each milestone.
