I’m kicking off a fresh MSP430 project built around the TI LaunchPad development board and need well-structured firmware that lets the board interact smoothly with user-interface hardware—buttons for input and LEDs or a small display for visual feedback.
Here’s the core of what I’m after:
• Firmware in C for the MSP430 LaunchPad that detects and debounces button presses, drives single LEDs or an attached character/graphic display, and executes simple control logic linking the two.
• Clear, in-line comments and a short write-up explaining clock setup, GPIO configuration, and any libraries you pull in so I can extend the code later.
• Build and flash instructions that work inside Code Composer Studio (or Energia if you prefer) plus a quick demo video or screenshots showing the interface in action.
I already have the hardware on my bench, so once you supply the compiled binary and source I can verify it immediately. If you’ve tackled extra LaunchPad peripherals before—capacitive touch, boosters, or serial comms—feel free to flag that; future phases may branch out.
Looking forward to seeing your approach and clean, readable code.
