I’m looking for a reliable Movie Recap Video Editor for long-term work.
This project is specifically for editors who already understand Movie Recap editing. Please do not apply if your experience is only with general YouTube videos, reels, shorts, or advertisements.
I will provide:
Full script
Voice-over
Movie or series title
Editing/style reference
Additional graphic assets when needed
The editor should be able to obtain the necessary source footage independently through lawful sources they have access to.
Movie Recaps
Final video length: approximately 15 minutes
Rate: $12 USD per completed video
TV Series Recaps
Final video length: approximately 25–30 minutes
Rate: $15 USD per completed video
The editor should already understand:
Accurate scene selection that matches the narration
Fast pacing and strong viewer retention
Frequent cuts and scene changes
Crops, zooms, reframing, and visual adjustments when appropriate
Voice-over as the primary audio
Minimal unnecessary original movie/episode audio
Background music and sound effects when appropriate
Character names and important text moments
Clean and dynamic graphic design
Basic color grading
Common Movie Recap editing practices when working with copyrighted footage
I understand that copyright claims can never be guaranteed to be avoided 100%. I’m looking for an editor who already understands the usual workflow and knows how to reduce unnecessary copyright risk.
Expected workload: approximately 4 videos per week, depending on whether they are movie or series recaps.
This is intended to be consistent long-term work for the right editor.
When applying, please send:
2–3 Movie Recap or TV Series Recap videos you personally edited
Your normal turnaround time for a 15-minute movie recap
Your normal turnaround time for a 25–30 minute series recap
Confirmation that you accept $12/movie recap and $15/series recap
Confirmation that you can handle approximately 4 videos per week
The editing software you use
A short explanation of your Movie Recap workflow
We may begin with one paid test video before starting regular work.
