Motorsport Event Simulator Technician Wanted

FREELANCE SIMULATOR TECH / EVENT CREW NEEDED ON SITE – WOKING – WED 26 AUGUST
Apex P1 Motorsport Events is looking for a freelance Simulator Technician / Event Crew member to support a corporate motorsport event in Woking, Surrey on Wednesday 26 August.
Location: Woking, Surrey
Date: Wednesday 26 August
Required: 3:00 pm – approximately 10:00 pm
Guest event starts at 6:30 pm
You’ll be needed from 3:00 pm for setup, simulator testing and team briefing, then to help operate the simulators throughout the event and assist with pack-down afterwards.
We're looking for someone technically confident, ideally with experience in sim racing, gaming PCs, racing simulators, esports, AV/event technology or technical event production.
The role will include:
• Setting up and testing racing simulators
• Operating simulators during the event
• Checking simulator hardware/software
• Troubleshooting basic technical issues
• Resetting races and managing driver changeovers
• Helping guests get set up and ready to race
• Supporting competitions and lap times
• Assisting with pack-down
You must be reliable, professional, technically confident and comfortable dealing with guests in a corporate environment.
