I am launching a small rental service that offers classic motorcycles alongside Dutch cargo bikes and I need a lightweight, responsive website that handles the entire booking flow. Customers must be able to select a bike, choose an hourly, daily, or weekly slot, immediately see whether it’s free thanks to a real-time availability calendar, and then pay online without ever leaving the site. One language (English) is fine for now, but the architecture should leave room for translations later.
A clean, modern UI is important—most visitors will come from mobile—yet the back-end matters just as much. I want a straightforward dashboard where I can add or retire vehicles, set tiered pricing for the three rental durations, block out maintenance days, and issue manual discounts or voucher codes. Automatic e-mails (confirmation, reminder, receipt) and a downloadable rental agreement PDF should fire off with each successful order.
Preferred stack is flexible: a proven WordPress plugin stack, a Laravel/Vue build, or another reputable framework is welcome as long as it is secure, fast, and well-documented. Payment integration should rely on a mainstream gateway such as Stripe or PayPal, with the option to add alternatives later.
Deliverables
• Fully functional, mobile-responsive website with branded front end
• Integrated booking engine supporting hourly, daily, and weekly rentals
• Real-time availability calendar synced to the bike inventory
• Secure online payment checkout live on my gateway account
• Admin panel for inventory, pricing, blackout dates, and voucher management
• Automated transactional e-mails and rental agreement PDF
• Deployment to my hosting, plus short hand-over walkthrough and basic documentation
I’ll test by completing a sample booking from both desktop and phone, checking calendar updates and payment capture. When that flows smoothly, the project is done.
