We are looking for a skilled motion graphics/video creator to produce short-form, highly engaging social media videos for Drappier, an Australian cybersecurity, compliance and IT solutions company.
We will provide several reference videos with the Freelancer listing. The goal is to closely match the quality, pacing, animation style and visual engagement of those references while creating completely original Drappier-branded content.
This is not traditional corporate video editing. We want modern, visually satisfying motion-design content that explains technology and cybersecurity concepts in a simple, engaging way.
Example video topics
Initial topics may include:
* How APIs work
* How webhooks work
* What happens when you use 2FA/MFA
* How phishing attacks work
* What happens when a password is compromised
* How ransomware spreads
* How backups protect a business
* What happens when you click a malicious link
* How Microsoft 365 security works
* Other cybersecurity, compliance and IT concepts
Videos will primarily be published on Instagram and LinkedIn, with the potential to reuse them across other platforms.
What we’re looking for
You should be able to:
* Create polished 2D/2.5D motion graphics and animation
* Turn technical concepts into simple visual stories
* Create strong hooks within the first few seconds
* Maintain good pacing and viewer retention
* Animate UI elements, diagrams, icons, text and abstract technology concepts
* Add appropriate sound design, transitions and music
* Follow an established brand identity
* Deliver vertical social-first content, primarily 9:16
* Create a reusable visual system/template so future videos can be produced efficiently without looking repetitive
We will provide Drappier’s branding, logos, colours and creative direction.
!!! Important !!!
Please review the reference videos attached to this listing before applying.

We are specifically looking for someone capable of achieving a similar production standard. Your portfolio should demonstrate relevant motion-design work rather than only basic Premiere Pro editing, talking-head videos or template-based reels.
We do not want generic cybersecurity visuals such as endless hooded hackers, Matrix-style code, glowing padlocks or cheesy stock footage.
The content should feel premium, modern, clean and visually engaging.
Initial project
We would like to start with one paid test video.
If the quality is right, this can become an ongoing relationship with multiple videos produced each month.
A major objective is establishing a reusable production system. Once the visual language, assets and animation components have been created, future videos should reuse appropriate elements rather than requiring everything to be designed from scratch.
When applying
Please include:
1. Your best 2–5 relevant examples of motion graphics or animated social content.
2. Which software you use, such as After Effects, Illustrator, Blender, Cavalry, Premiere Pro, etc.
3. Your estimated price for one 30–60 second video at the quality level of the supplied references.
4. Your estimated turnaround time per video.
5. Whether you can provide the editable/source project files.
6. Whether you can build the project around a reusable template/component system for ongoing videos.
Please do not send a generic application. Briefly explain how you would approach recreating the style and production quality of the reference videos for cybersecurity and technology topics.
Potential for ongoing work if the first video is successful.
