Monochrome Graphic Novel Artist

I'm seeking a talented manga/anime artist to create some chapters for a novel. The artwork would be black and white. We will begin by having you do one chapter, and then if that goes well, proceed to illustrating the rest of the book, about four total chapters. This post and suggested pay rate are only for the first chapter. Absolutely no ai can be used, per publisher's instructions. A signed letter must accompany the art stating that no ai was used.

I'll provide a storyboard mockup with text and images and samples of manga style that I like.

To give some more clarity on the project. I'm a published novelist. This is my sixth book. I'm trying something different with this Young Adult novel. There are several point of view characters, and each point of view character has a different style of chapter. There's the teen protagonist whose chapters are all diary entries, and a teen boy whose chapters are all written as movie scripts. For this project, the character's name is JAX, she's Japanese America and a manga artist. So when you come to her chapters, in a normal novel full of text, you're suddenly faced with her telling her story in manga style. Those four to five JAX chapters are what I'm seeking a manga artist for.

I have a clear storyline and am clear on what goes into the speech bubbles, but I'm not a manga artist. I have mockups, as I mentioned earlier.

Part 1 of this project is just to create one chapter so I can get beta readers to read a few chapters as I am revising the final part of the book. Art for the final part of the book won't commence for a few months. This project is just for the first JAX chapter.

Key Requirements:
- Expertise in manga art -- with proof of publication of images
- Proficiency in illustrations
- Ability to convey a character across novel chapters, and convey emotions and narrative through artwork

Ideal Skills and Experience:
- Strong background in illustration, particularly for manga/anime
- Strong varied portfolio
- Experience with character design, backgrounds, and panel layout
