I’m building a compact, modular charging station for VRLA / AGM motorcycle batteries and I need the electronics and firmware that will let riders see real-time battery health on a dedicated physical display panel.

Modular battery charger for VRLA / AGM motorcycle batteries
The core of the job is the health-monitoring logic rather than charge control. I want the system to track three specific parameters—voltage levels, temperature, and accumulated charge cycles—and present them clearly on a small, ruggedized screen that can be mounted on the charging dock or the bike itself. Think of it as a “fuel gauge” for the battery, always on and readable at a glance, no phone or web connection required.

Key things I’m looking for:
• Hardware schematic and PCB layout for a modular monitor module that taps the battery while it’s on the charger.
• Embedded code (C/C++ or MicroPython—whichever fits the chosen MCU) that samples voltage, temperature, and cycle count, applies basic health algorithms, and drives the display.
• Simple menu or icon set on the display that shows current voltage, temperature, total cycles, and an overall health percentage.
• Provision for daisy-chaining multiple monitor modules so several batteries can share one main charger but each keeps its own display.
• Clear instructions so I can assemble a prototype locally and validate readings with a multimeter and thermocouple.

Acceptance will be based on:
1. Accurate voltage reporting within ±0.05 V, temperature within ±2 °C, and correct incrementation of charge cycles during 10 controlled charge/discharge tests.
2. Smooth, flicker-free updates on the display every second or better.
3. Complete, well-documented source files and Gerbers that compile/flash without warnings in the recommended toolchain.
4. simulation and Matlab with logic documents
If you have prior experience with battery management systems, small 16*2 lcd displays, or motorcycle electronics, let’s talk—I’m eager to get a working prototype on my bench.
