I have the rights to a technical textbook first published in the 1970s and I’m ready to give it a full 21-century makeover. Every element—images, diagrams, charts, body text, even the overall page flow—needs rebuilding so that the finished book feels native to today’s adult-learning environment and effectively teaches a practical, job-ready skill.

Here’s the big picture. The original content is sound, but the language is dated and the visuals are strictly analog. I want fresh, high-resolution illustrations that match modern workplace scenarios, concise and inclusive wording, and a clean layout that works equally well in print (standard US trim) and in an accessible, reflowable PDF or e-book format.

Key expectations
• Rewrite or lightly edit each section for clarity, plain-English tone, and current industry terminology.
• Redraw every illustration and figure in a contemporary vector style, keeping technical accuracy intact.
• Design a consistent page template in InDesign (or comparable software) that balances white space, call-outs, and step-by-step visuals adults can scan quickly.
• Provide print-ready files (CMYK, 300 dpi) and a separate digital version optimized for screens.

I’ll supply the original PDF scans plus any supplementary reference material. Please tell me about similar modernization projects you’ve handled and your typical turnaround for a book of roughly 250 pages.
