I need a developer / designer to craft a clean, modern-looking website for my new restaurant. The overall feel must be sleek—think generous white space, crisp typography, subtle animation, and mobile-first responsiveness.
Content & structure I already have the rough outline prepared:
• Hero section that instantly shows our restaurant name, tagline, and a bold call-to-action button.
• About section where I’ll tell our story, culinary style, and inspiration.
• Menu section that can be broken into categories with sample dishes so I can swap in final wording later.
• Gallery to showcase ambience photos; a simple lightbox is fine for now.
• Reservations area—whether it’s an integrated form or a link to an external booking tool, it just needs to be obvious and easy for guests.
• Contact & location block with an embedded map placeholder, basic address info, and a short directions line.
• Footer carrying opening hours and icons that link to our social pages.
Technical expectations The site should load quickly, be SEO-friendly, and adapt seamlessly to phone and tablet screens. I prefer a CMS such as WordPress, Webflow, or comparable so future edits (new dishes, new photos) are painless—let me know which platform you’re most comfortable with. Clean, well-commented code is essential.
Deliverables
1. Fully functional website hosted on a staging URL for review.
2. Source files / CMS login plus a concise hand-off guide so my staff can update text and images.
3. One round of post-launch tweaks to catch anything we miss.
If you’ve built restaurant or hospitality sites before, please share a couple of links. Looking forward to seeing how you translate our concept into an elegant user experience.
