My movie review site needs a fresh, instantly recognisable icon that shouts “ratings” at a glance. Similar to the bold green splat icon on RottenTomatoes.com, an icon I can trademark and weave across the site, apps and social feeds.
• Modern in line weight, shapes and colour handling.
• A 40 × 40px desktop as the reference size. For smaller contexts, much smaller variants around 16 to 24px. The WebP/PNG can be 128px or 256px, but CSS should render it at 40px × 40px or lower sizes.
• Clearly tied to the idea of film ratings (stars, scores, freshness meters; interpret creatively).
• Distinct enough to live beside competitors without any confusion
Deliverables I expect
1. Vector master (AI or SVG) plus transparent PNG exports at 512 px and 1024 px and 128px or 256px.
2. A monochrome version that still reads well.
3. A brief style note on colour values and safe reduction guidelines.
Acceptance criteria
• Looks sharp at favicon size yet scales for splash screens
• Passes a quick originality check (no stock graphics or clipart)
• Communicates “rating” within the first glance
