I need a fresh, original short story that captures the gentle thrill of first love between students in today’s world. The tone should stay sweet and innocent—think butterflies and shy smiles rather than anything graphic—while still giving readers a genuine emotional payoff.

Present-day university or college life: lectures, dorm hallways, coffee runs and study sessions. Everyday details that feel real will help pull the reader in.

Characters
Both protagonists are students. They can be freshmen discovering independence, teammates bonding after practice, lab partners who click—whatever sparks chemistry while keeping them relatable and age-appropriate.
