PROJECT BRIEF – OFF SCRIPT
Hi! I would like to share more details about my project to give you a better understanding of the concept and the direction I’m looking for.
About the Brand
OFF SCRIPT is a contemporary dessert and matcha concept specialising in chocolate-covered strawberries, matcha drinks and other little indulgences.
Our tagline is: “Good things happen off script.”
The concept is built around doing things differently — creating a brand that feels unexpected, playful, creative and memorable, rather than following the traditional dessert café aesthetic.
The Interior Design Vision
I’m looking for an interior that reflects the brand’s personality: modern, editorial, sophisticated, and slightly unconventional.
I want the space to feel premium but approachable, with a distinctive identity that appeals to both male and female customers. I don’t want it to look overly feminine or like a typical pink dessert shop.
The design should be visually interesting and recognisable, while maintaining a clean and timeless aesthetic.
Brand Identity & Colour Palette
I already have an approved brand identity and mood board that I will share with you as the main visual reference.
The identity includes:
* Burgundy as a strong signature colour.
* Cream and taupe as the neutral foundation.
* Matcha olive green as an accent.
* Deep cocoa and chocolate tones.
* An elegant editorial serif font.
* A minimal bow symbol as the brand’s signature graphic.
I would like the interior to incorporate these elements naturally without making the space feel too colourful or overwhelming.
What I Want to Achieve
* A strong and recognisable storefront that attracts attention.
* A beautiful and functional service counter.
* An attractive presentation area for chocolate-covered strawberries.
* A dedicated, practical preparation area for matcha drinks.
* Thoughtful lighting that enhances the products and overall atmosphere.
* Creative use of materials, textures and finishes.
* Smart storage and space optimisation.
* A cohesive design that connects the interior with our packaging and branding.
Important Considerations
The shop is relatively compact, so functionality and space planning are extremely important. I want every area to have a purpose without compromising the overall aesthetic.
I’m looking for someone who can think creatively, suggest unconventional ideas and take the concept beyond a standard café design.
I don’t want to simply decorate a shop. I want to create an experience and a space that customers remember, photograph and associate with OFF SCRIPT.
Deliverables I’m Looking For
* Concept development and mood board.
* Space planning and furniture layout.
* 3D visualisations and realistic renders.
* Material and colour selections.
* Lighting design.
* Joinery and counter design.
* Technical drawings suitable for execution.
* Material and furniture specifications.
I’m open to your creative suggestions, but it’s important that the final design stays true to the brand identity and the mood board I will provide.
I’m looking forward to seeing how you can translate this concept into a unique physical space.
