I’m building a lightweight video-calling application that runs smoothly on both iOS and Android. The initial release is focused entirely on crystal-clear one-on-one calls, so latency, connection stability and efficient bandwidth handling sit at the heart of this project.

Users will authenticate exclusively through phone-number verification; no email or social logins are planned for this first phase. A simple, secure workflow—OTP text, automatic read where allowed, and fallback manual entry—will be needed.

The interface should feel native on each platform yet share as much code as practical. Whether you prefer Swift with Kotlin, React Native, Flutter, or another modern stack, I’m open as long as the finished product delivers a polished UX and leverages proven real-time engines such as WebRTC, Agora, or Twilio for the call layer.

Please include built-in handling for network drops, push notifications for incoming calls, basic call history stored locally or in the cloud, and encryption end-to-end for video and audio streams. Future phases may expand to group calls or screen sharing, so clean, modular code is important.

Deliverables
• Production-ready iOS and Android builds
• Source code with clear readme and setup scripts
• Lightweight back-end (or PaaS configuration) supporting OTP login and call signalling
• Test report covering call quality, edge cases, and security checks

I’ll consider the project complete when both apps pass functional testing on recent iOS and Android versions and the code repository is handed over with all documentation.
