I need a clean, well-documented codebase—written in either PHP or Node.js—that I can drop straight into my existing system to power a mobile app. The scope is limited to the API layer; I am not looking for a dashboard or any front-end screens.
Core requirements
• Secure email-and-password authentication (you may use JWT, Passport, or a comparable library).
• Endpoints that list text records and support full CRUD: create, update, delete.
• Clear separation of business logic and persistence so I can re-wire the data layer later if needed.
• Brief setup notes plus example requests in cURL or Postman to prove everything works.
I will handle deployment and UI; just deliver the functional code and concise documentation so I can integrate it quickly.
