Description:
I need a mobile app developer to build a simple prototype app for a clip on spectrometer device that detects fake drugs and food. The device connects to a phone via Bluetooth and sends 18 channels of spectral data. The phone camera captures a Raman spectrum image. The app compares the data to an offline database and shows a simple Green (genuine) or Red (fake) result.
What the app needs to do:
Connect to an ESP32‑S3 device via Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Send a "START_SCAN" command to the device
Receive 18 numbers (NIR spectral data) from the device
Open the phone camera to capture a Raman spectrum image
Compare both data sets to a local offline database
Display a result: Green (genuine) or Red (fake)
Save scan history locally
Requirements:
Experience with Flutter or React Native
Experience with Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE)
Experience with offline databases (SQLite, Hive, or similar)
Basic understanding of cosine similarity or Euclidean distance (for matching)
Ability to work from a simple mockup (I will provide UI screenshots)
Nice to have (but not required):
Experience with TensorFlow Lite or on‑device ML
Experience with image processing (Raman spectrum extraction)
