Mobile Energy Management System Development

I’m building a truly mobile-first energy management system that must run smoothly on both iOS and Android from day one. The app will let end-users watch their energy usage in real time, control connected devices remotely, and pull clear consumption reports, all from their phones.

Authentication will rely on a classic email-and-password flow reinforced by a one-time verification code before access is granted. I’m open to expanding to social or biometric login later, but they are not part of this initial scope.

Beyond the three core features above, I also need:
• Behaviour-pattern monitoring to surface efficiency tips and anomalies
• A financial registration module, ready to plug into a payment interface when required
• Continuous status/error monitoring for every device linked to the system
• Separate dashboards and login flows for standard users versus facility managers

Deliverables I expect:
• Universal mobile app (Swift/Kotlin, React Native, or Flutter—use what you’re fastest with) fully tested on current iOS and Android versions
• Secure back-end and API endpoints supporting the listed features
• Clear, concise documentation covering build steps, API routes, and user/manager role separation
• Source code in a Git repo, handed over at project completion

The system needs to be lightweight, intuitive, and ready for incremental feature upgrades after launch. If you have proven experience with energy IoT, real-time data streams, or similar SaaS dashboards, that’s a big plus—let’s create something powerful together.
