Mixed Data Database Maintenance

I have a live database that draws its records from several Excel and Google Sheets files. Both numeric fields (prices, quantities, IDs) and text fields (names, descriptions, notes) need to be entered, verified, and kept in sync so the system stays reliable for day-to-day operations.

Everything is already digital—no papers to scan—so the job is strictly about opening the spreadsheets, comparing them against the existing tables, and keying in or correcting any missing or outdated information. Consistent formatting, strict attention to typos, and an eye for duplicate records are essential because the goal here is ongoing database updating and maintenance rather than a one-off import.

You are free to use the tools you’re fastest with—Excel formulas, Google Sheets, or direct SQL edits—as long as the final result is a clean, accurate, and fully updated database.
