Minimalist Portfolio Website Build

I need a clean, modern-looking portfolio built with plain HTML, CSS and a touch of vanilla JavaScript. The site should include five clearly separated sections—Home, About, Skills, Projects and Contact— styled in a strictly monochrome palette (black, white and gray) to keep everything minimalist and distraction-free. No logo or prior branding exists, so feel free to treat the typography and layout as the only visual identity.

Responsiveness is critical: the layout must adapt smoothly from mobile through large desktop screens without relying on frameworks. Subtle interactions such as smooth scrolling or a lightweight slider for the Projects area are welcome as long as they don’t bloat load times.

Deliverables:
• Fully commented source code (HTML, CSS, JS) organised in folders
• Any images or placeholder assets used
• A brief README with setup instructions and notes on how to swap in new project items or update content

I’ll test the site on Chrome, Firefox, Safari and a recent Android/iOS browser; it should look consistent across all. Once everything is packaged and reviewed, simply hand over the zipped project or a Git repo link so I can publish it straight away.
