I'm looking for a designer who can execute **restrained, editorial typography** — this is not a decorative or trendy logo job.
Brand: Zerra Homes — premium D2C home decor and lighting, India. Positioning: Japandi-inspired, quiet luxury. Reference brands for tone: Ferm Living, Muji, The Citizenry, Aesop, Frama, Tekla Fabrics, Cuyana.
Direction:
A wordmark-led logo for "Zerra Homes," built around generous letter-spacing and a single, confident weight. The mark should feel like it belongs on matte packaging or a minimalist storefront sign — quiet, not loud. The confidence should come from proportion and spacing, not size, boldness, or color.
What I do NOT want:
- Bold, heavy, or shouty treatments
- Connected/organic lowercase logotypes (letters linking or sharing strokes) — that reads too casual for this brand
- A stacked "NAME / subtitle-line" lockup with a thin horizontal rule
- Illustrative icons — no houses, lamps, or furniture silhouettes. If you propose a mark, it must be abstract/geometric only
- Gradients or multi-color treatments — must work as a single flat color first
Typography: You choose the typeface. I'm not prescribing a specific font — propose whatever best executes the spaced, editorial, single-weight direction above. Serif or clean sans are both acceptable, as long as they hold the restrained, quiet-luxury tone.
Brand Palette :
- Cream: #F5EFE6
- Warm Brown: #3D1F0D
- Taupe: #8B6F52
Deliverables:
- Minimum 3 concept directions before we lock one for refinement
- Primary horizontal lockup + stacked/square version
- Files: AI/EPS (vector, editable), SVG, PNG (transparent, dark + light versions), print-ready PDF
- Full ownership and source files on completion
