I own a growing collection of Department 56 Harry Potter buildings and I want to turn them into a single, story-rich miniature display. I’m looking for an artist-maker who can not only stage what I already have but also design and craft the extra touches that bring Hogsmeade and Diagon Alley to life—think new shop fronts, cobbled streets with working lanterns, and small-scale characters or furniture that match Department 56 proportions. I’m not certain of the exact scale, so I’ll rely on your eye to keep every new element consistent with the existing pieces.

You’ll handle concept sketches, material selection (foam, resin, polymer clay, LEDs—whatever suits), fabrication, painting, weathering, and final placement. The goal is a cohesive, museum-quality miniature scene that feels straight out of the films while remaining sturdy enough for seasonal display.

Key deliverables
• Layout plan showing building and street placement
• Custom-made buildings or façades that blend seamlessly with Department 56 originals
• Street details: signage, lamp posts with LEDs, paving, snow effects, etc.
• Hand-crafted figures, furniture, and small props scaled to match
• Clear instructions (or virtual walk-through) for assembly if shipping is required

***Setup must be on site***—but I do want progress photos or video check-ins so we can tweak details along the way. If you have a portfolio of miniature or themed set work, especially anything wizarding-world inspired, please share it when you reply. Let’s create a miniature village that truly feels magical.
