My website is running smoothly on a Linux server with Apache, but I now have a Windows-based environment waiting and need everything moved across to IIS without a hiccup. The job covers both the site files and a MySQL database, so the full stack has to come over intact, re-configured, and fully tested on the new server.

The Windows machine is already provisioned; what’s missing is the clean transfer, IIS setup, and any tweaks to connection strings so the application recognises the MySQL instance on Windows (or an alternative you recommend if it streamlines performance). I want the migration handled with minimal downtime, SSL preserved, and URL structure unchanged so search rankings remain stable.

Deliverables
• Complete copy of all website files placed in the correct IIS site directory, with permissions set properly
• MySQL database exported, imported on the Windows host, and verified for integrity
• IIS configuration (bindings, rewrite rules, MIME types, etc.) mirroring current functionality on Apache
• Updated config files or environment variables reflecting the new server paths and database credentials
• Final smoke test confirming pages, forms, and dynamic features operate exactly as before

Once everything checks out on staging, you’ll schedule the DNS cut-over with me and remain available for quick fixes during the first 24 hours in production. If you’ve migrated similar LAMP stacks to IIS before, flag that experience in your bid and note any automation tools you plan to use (e.g., RoboCopy, Web Deploy, MySQL Workbench).
