Microsoft Fabric Setup Specialist Needed

I’m preparing to roll out Microsoft Fabric and want an experienced contractor to stand up the environment from scratch. The engagement covers the initial setup only, but I do need it tailored to the way we work rather than a purely out-of-the-box install.

Scope of work
• Identity & Access Management – configure Entra ID integration, role-based access, and security policies that map to our existing groups.
• Data Lake & Storage – provision OneLake, set up the lakehouse architecture, and establish best-practice folder structures, retention, and lifecycle policies.
• Analytics & Reporting – enable Fabric workloads (Power BI, DirectLake, notebooks) and build a small set of sample dashboards so we know the pipeline is flowing end-to-end.

Moderate customization means you will adapt default templates, naming conventions, and governance settings to our standards, but we are not looking for deep code rewrites.

Deliverables
1. A fully functioning Microsoft Fabric tenant configured for the three areas above.
2. A hand-over document (or short Loom walkthrough) detailing what was done, key admin settings, and how to extend the environment.
3. A brief knowledge-transfer session with our technical lead (max 2 hours, remote).

Acceptance criteria
• All users and groups we specify can sign in and see only the resources assigned to them.
• Data ingested into OneLake is visible in Power BI within agreed workspaces.
• Sample dashboards refresh without errors.
• Documentation is clear enough for an internal admin to continue day-to-day operation.
