Microsoft 365 Migration & Secure Implementation

Microsoft 365 Consultant Required: Intune, Entra ID & Google Workspace Migration (7 Users)
Project Overview

We are a small UK-based business with 7 users looking for an experienced Microsoft 365 consultant to help modernise and secure our IT environment.

The project involves:

Implementing Microsoft Intune
Configuring Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD)
Migrating users from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
Applying appropriate security policies and best practices
Producing clear documentation so the environment can be supported internally after handover

We are looking for someone who can take ownership of the project from planning through implementation and provide a professional handover.

Scope of Work
Microsoft Entra ID
Configure Microsoft Entra ID
Set up users, groups and permissions
Configure Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)
Configure Conditional Access policies
Implement security best practices suitable for a small business
Configure self-service password reset where appropriate
Microsoft Intune
Configure Microsoft Intune for device management
Create enrolment policies
Configure device compliance policies
Implement security baselines
Configure Windows update and patch management policies
Develop onboarding and offboarding processes
Google Workspace Migration

We currently use Google Workspace and require migration to Microsoft 365, including:

User mailboxes
Historical email
Calendars
Contacts
Google Drive data (where required)

The consultant should recommend and use appropriate migration tooling and ensure all data is verified post-migration.

Security & Best Practice
MFA implementation
Basic Conditional Access policies
Secure admin accounts
Licensing review and recommendations
General Microsoft 365 security hardening suitable for a small organisation
Documentation Requirements

A key deliverable is comprehensive documentation that allows us to support the environment internally.

Documentation should include:

Tenant overview
Entra ID configuration
Intune configuration
Security settings and policies
User onboarding process
User offboarding process
Device enrolment process
MFA setup guide
Password reset procedures
Administrator access and management procedures
Licensing summary
Handover

The successful freelancer will be expected to:

Conduct a handover session
Explain key configurations
Walk through the documentation
Provide a short period of post-implementation support to address any migration issues
Required Experience

Please only apply if you have:

Significant Microsoft 365 administration experience
Experience implementing Microsoft Intune
Experience with Microsoft Entra ID
Experience migrating organisations from Google Workspace to Microsoft 365
Strong documentation skills
Excellent communication skills

Microsoft certifications are desirable but not essential.

We expect this engagement to require approximately 4-6 days of consultancy effort, including planning, implementation, migration, testing, documentation and handover. We are open to fixed-price proposals based on the scope above.

Objective: Deliver a secure, well-documented Microsoft 365 environment that can be easily managed internally once the project is complete.
