Microgrid Power System Development in Bermuda

My long-term goal is to explore whether I can start a very small independent power-generation system in Bermuda, initially supplying approximately five nearby homes, and then potentially expand the system if the pilot proves successful.

I’m particularly interested in understanding whether this could begin with a small generator-based power station rather than automatically relying on solar. I would like to compare diesel, LPG/propane, batteries, wind, hybrid systems and any other practical options.
Needed-

1. Examples of one or two microgrid or generator-based power systems you’ve previously worked on.
2. An example of a single-line diagram or similar conceptual electrical design you’ve produced, with confidential client information removed.
3. What you would recommend as the first phase of work for my five-home concept.
4. What information you would need from me to complete that first phase.
5. Your estimated price and timeframe for the initial feasibility/conceptual study.
6. Whether you have experience designing systems that distribute electricity from one central generating location to multiple separate buildings/homes.
7. Whether you can estimate both startup cost and the actual cost per kWh of electricity produced.
8. Whether your design could be structured so we could eventually expand from 5 homes to 10, 20, 50 or more without completely redesigning the system.

I am still learning about electricity generation, so I would also need you to explain the design and calculations in straightforward language as we work through the project.
