About the project
We’re building a web and mobile marketplace platform and need an experienced developer to build two self-contained integrations. The stack is Next.js/TypeScript with a Postgres database (Node.js backend). We’ll share more once an NDA is signed.
Scope 1: Meta / Instagram Platform API integration
Instagram API with Instagram Login (OAuth) for professional accounts
Secure token storage plus a scheduled refresh job (long-lived tokens expire after 60 days)
Pull a user’s media list and per-post metrics (likes, comments, reach, engagement) and compute averages and engagement rate
Download and cache lightweight image thumbnails on our own storage/CDN, refreshed periodically
Data deletion routine: delete cached media and data when a user disconnects or requests deletion, including Meta’s required data-deletion callback
Handle rate limits and API errors gracefully
Support our Meta App Review and Business Verification submission: permission justifications, screencast demo, and privacy policy requirements
Scope 2: Stripe Connect escrow payments
Stripe Connect (Express accounts) onboarding for payees, including identity and bank verification
“Separate charges and transfers” pattern: capture the full payment up front, then transfer to the payee on release
Escrow status lifecycle: pending, held, released, disputed, refunded
Automated release: a scheduled job that releases funds 3 days after delivery is marked unless the payer approves earlier or either party raises a dispute (a dispute pauses the timer)
Webhook handling that is idempotent, signature-verified, and safe on retries
Refund and failure handling, plus an audit log of every state change
Australian entity and AUD support
Requirements
Proven production experience with Stripe Connect (please share examples)
Prior experience with the Meta Graph / Instagram API and the App Review process is a strong plus
Clean, tested, documented code. We own all IP and code from day one.
Comfortable with milestone-based delivery and written progress updates
