I have completed an initial data-extraction run for a meta-analysis that covers 20 published studies and 14 predefined questions per study. Before I proceed to analysis, I want a medically trained eye to double-check every field. The task is purely verification and double re extraction if required. full articles are available .

Scope
• Quantitative material sits in structured database entries (one record per study, 20 variables per record).
• Qualitative answers are stored in accompanying text documents.
• Both sets must be cross-checked against the original articles to confirm accuracy, completeness, and consistency.

What you’ll do
1. Open the database, review each numeric and coded field against its source, and flag or correct any mismatch.
2. Read the linked text documents, ensure the qualitative answers accurately reflect the corresponding study content, and standardise wording where needed.
3. Keep a concise change log explaining every correction or doubtful item so I can trace decisions easily.

Deliverables
• Updated database file with all verified quantitative fields.
• Revised text documents or an annotated copy showing edits.
• A change log (spreadsheet or doc) summarising discrepancies, corrections, and any unresolved queries.

Acceptance criteria
✓ Every one of the 200 data points (14 questions × 20 studies) is either confirmed or corrected.
✓ All corrections are referenced to page, table, or paragraph of the source paper.
✓ No outstanding uncertainties remain without a clear comment.

Familiarity with clinical research reporting standards and quick access to full-text articles will help you fly through this. Let me know your expected turnaround and any clarifying questions.
