Electrical & HVAC System Design
Project: Electrical and HVAC System Design
Date: 30 August 2026
1. Scope of Work
The freelance designer will provide a complete Electrical and HVAC design package, including:
Electrical Design
- Electrical load calculations
- Lighting and power layouts
- Socket and equipment layouts
- Distribution board schedules
- Single-line diagrams (SLD)
- Cable sizing and voltage-drop calculations
- Electrical panel schedules
- Earthing and lightning protection design
- Low-current systems coordination where required
- Electrical BOQ and material specifications
HVAC Design
- Cooling and heating load calculations
- AC equipment selection and sizing
- HVAC layout drawings
- Supply and return ductwork design
- Ductwork sizing and routing
- Fresh-air and ventilation design
- Exhaust systems
- Refrigerant piping layout where applicable
- HVAC equipment schedules
- HVAC BOQ and technical specifications
2. Duct Shaft / Service Space
An allocated HVAC duct/service space of:
600 mm × 1,000 mm
The designer shall:
Design the ductwork to fit within the allocated space.
Verify duct dimensions and required insulation thickness.
Coordinate duct routing with structural and architectural elements.
Provide sections/details showing duct dimensions and clearances.
Ensure adequate access for installation and maintenance.
Coordinate HVAC services with other MEP systems.
3. Deliverables
The final design package shall include:
CAD drawings (DWG)
PDF drawings
Electrical calculations
HVAC load calculations
Duct sizing calculations
Equipment schedules
Electrical BOQ
HVAC BOQ
Technical specifications
Coordination drawings
Reasonable design revisions
4. Design Standards The design shall follow applicable international engineering standards and good professional practice, including relevant IEC, ASHRAE, and NFPA standards, together with applicable local requirements.
5. Estimated Duration 10–15 working days from receipt of all required architectural, structural, and project information.
6. Quotation Validity This quotation is valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
7. Additional Requirement: The proposal must include the designs as part of the submission.
