Membership Gifting Website Development

I need a fully-functioning, membership-based gifting website.

The customer dashboard is central to the experience. It must surface upcoming reminders at a glance, allow members to upgrade, pause, or cancel their plans, edit recipient profiles, save payment methods, and browse a curated inventory of gift options tied to each occasion. Should also include real-time updates (such as confirmation that a gift has shipped)

9.Choose a gift budget/price tier for each occasion.
10. Choose how gifting will work:
-Member selects the gift, or
-Birthday Box chooses the gift based on the recipient profile and selected budget. This option is Premium-only.
11.One month before the occasion, the member receives a reminder.
12. Member selects a gift from the curated inventory, filtered by age, gender, preferences, occasion, and price (or Birthday Box selects it.)
13.Member selects wrapping and card options.
14.Member writes the card message or chooses a prewritten message.
15.Member verifies the shipping address.
16.Birthday Box charges the saved payment method for the preselected gift budget 2–4 weeks before shipping and sends notice. The member may cancel within the allowed window.
If payment fails, notifications continue until the payment method is updated. The gift does not ship until payment is complete.
17.Member receives shipping notification.
18.Gift is delivered within the member's selected 4–5 day delivery window.
19.Member receives delivery confirmation.
20.Member receives a reminder on or before the occasion to call or text the recipient.
21.The process repeats for future recipients and occasions.

Technical needs
• Responsive front-end (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/React/Vue—open to your preferred stack).
• Secure back-end for user data, memberships, and gift inventory (Node, Django, Laravel, etc.).
• Payment gateway integration for recurring memberships plus one-off gift purchases.
• Admin panel to add products, manage orders, and view analytics.
• Notification system (email/SMS) for reminders and order updates.
• Scalable database design so users can maintain unlimited recipient profiles.

Acceptance criteria
• Pages render flawlessly on current desktop and mobile browsers.
• Dashboard delivers all listed functions without errors.
• Payments process securely with PCI-compliant flow.
• Reminders trigger at the correct intervals.
• Code is documented well enough for future in-house maintenance.
