Medieval Warfare Article Series

I’m putting together a concise set of well-researched articles that explore key wars and conflicts of the medieval era. Each piece should read smoothly for a general audience yet retain solid academic grounding, citing reputable primary or secondary sources where possible.

Scope
• Roughly 1,200–1,500 words per article (initial assignment is one article; a longer series is planned if we work well together).
• Balanced narrative: describe causes, main actors, major battles, and lasting consequences without drifting into unrelated periods.
• Clear, engaging prose—no jargon, but still accurate enough to satisfy keen history readers.

Please include:
• A short outline before drafting so we agree on the angle.
• Harvard or Chicago-style references at the end.
• Two or three suggested images in the public domain (links only; I’ll handle licensing).
