Medieval Pencil Family Portrait

The project is a single, hand-drawn pencil portrait of my family of five imagined as medieval royalty—a king, queen, two young princesses (5 & 3), and a baby prince (under 1 year old). I want the piece to feel true-to-life rather than caricature, with the greatest care given to capturing each face accurately and expressively.

Medium & style
• Graphite or comparable traditional pencil work only—no digital, no AI assistance.
• Realistic rendering with a fantasy-leaning medieval aesthetic. I do not have fixed references for clothing, so you’re free to design crowns, gowns, armor, or other period-inspired details that complement the personalities you see in the reference photos I’ll supply. Family may be seated (knees up) or standing (waist up)

Background
I’m flexible on the setting (castle hall, royal garden, throne room, etc.) and would like to decide this with you once we discuss composition and mood.

Deliverables
• Final original artwork on quality illustration paper (A3 or similar), shipped securely.
• High-resolution scan (300 dpi or higher) provided digitally before shipping.
• A brief note on the materials used so I can frame and preserve the piece appropriately.

Timeline and collaboration
After awarding the project, I’ll send multiple reference photos of each family member. I’d appreciate a rough pencil layout for approval before you advance to detailed shading. Two minor adjustment rounds on the sketch stage are plenty; once we lock the composition, you can dive into the final rendering.
