Genetrix: go-to-market brief for MCT and
JourneyVoice
For freelancers bidding on our project. Read this before you bid. Everything you need to understand the
company, the two apps and the problem is here.
1. Who we are
Genetrix is a Salesforce consulting partner focused on marketing technology.
US entity: Genetrix Consulting LLC, Las Vegas, Nevada. Delivery team: Genetrix Consulting LLP,
Pune, India.
What we do for clients: Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, Marketing Cloud
Personalization, Marketing Cloud Intelligence, Account Engagement (Pardot), Data Cloud,
Agentforce, migrations, data modelling, implementation, campaign management and support.
Website: genetrix.tech
Alongside services, we build our own apps for Salesforce Marketing Cloud. This project is about two of
them.
2. App one: MCT (Marketing Cloud Translator)
Published on Salesforce AppExchange. Site: mct.genetrix.tech
What it does. MCT is a native block for Content Builder (the email editor inside Salesforce Marketing
Cloud). A marketer drops it into an email, picks the target languages, and MCT produces one email that
every subscriber receives in their own language, chosen from a locale field in their data.
How it works
Translates once per language and stores each language as a content block. There is no
translation call at send time, so sending to 1,000 or 1,000,000 subscribers costs the same and
sends at normal speed.
42+ languages.
Protects AMPscript (Marketing Cloud's scripting language) and personalization strings: they are
set aside before translation and put back exactly as written.
Do-not-translate terms keep brand and product names unchanged in every language.
Handles nested templates and slot-based emails in one pass.
Every language is an editable, versioned block, so a person can review it before it ships, and
audits stay inside Content Builder.
When the source email changes, the marketer clicks Translate again and reviews the updated
blocks.
Install and first send in under a day.
Security: OAuth 2.0 client credentials with least-privilege scopes, secrets in a managed store,
translated content stays in the customer's own Marketing Cloud instance, no subscriber data sent
out, GDPR aligned.
Use cases: global campaigns, welcome, renewal and re-engagement journeys, transactional and
triggered emails, launching in a new market, cart and browse abandonment.
Context: language rules such as Quebec's Bill 96 make the quality and consistency of translated email
a compliance topic, not only a marketing one.
Requirement: Marketing Cloud Engagement with Content Builder. MCT does not run on Marketing
Cloud Growth, Marketing Cloud Advanced or Account Engagement (Pardot).
The problem it replaces: today, teams usually clone each email once per language, then fix every
clone whenever the offer or copy changes. Copies drift apart, edits multiply and new markets wait.
3. App two: JourneyVoice
Site: genetrix.tech/salesforce-marketing-cloud-journeyvoice
What it does. JourneyVoice adds personalized voice calls to customer journeys in Salesforce
Marketing Cloud. It is a custom activity that a marketer drags onto the Journey Builder canvas, next to
email and SMS.
How it works
Messages use text-to-speech, pre-recorded audio or a voice recording, personalized with
Salesforce data (names, delivery details, preferences).
Handles scheduling and voice delivery.
Voicemail drops: when the customer misses the call, a pre-recorded message is left.
Real-time analytics: connected calls, customer responses, voicemail drops and campaign results.
Built for high-volume journeys, from startups to enterprises.
Encryption in transit; GDPR and CCPA compliant.
A trial is available to test it on one journey, and a demo can be booked.
Use cases: order and delivery confirmations, appointment reminders, renewal notices and
personalized updates, especially for customers who stop opening email and SMS.
4. The problem we want you to solve
The products work. Getting the right buyers to discover and try them is the hard part.
What we have tried and learned so far:
Cold email to US Salesforce consulting partners and to US companies that run Marketing Cloud.
Reply rates were low, and most replies were automatic.
Live, in-person asks at Dreamforce (Salesforce's annual conference) produced almost all of
the real conversations.
Partners reply to a two-way partnership idea (something they can offer their own clients), not
to being sold capacity. Their most common objection is "we are a Salesforce partner ourselves"
.
Generic Marketing Cloud topics (deliverability, quizzes, general services) got no traction.
We have not yet invested seriously in the AppExchange listing, Salesforce partner programs, LinkedIn,
content, communities or paid channels. We want your view on which of these, or something else,
comes first.

5. Who we target today (please challenge this)
We want you to tell us if there is a better ICP: a different role, company type, size, industry, region, or a
buying trigger we are missing (for example a new market launch, a Marketing Cloud implementation, a
compliance deadline, a contact center project).
6. What we want from you
A practical 90-day plan to win the first customers for each app:
the ICP you recommend, with the trigger that makes them buy now
the channels, in order, and the first three steps in each
the message and the offer for each app (what we put in front of people first)
how the AppExchange listing, Salesforce partner ecosystem and events fit in
the metrics for day 30 and day 90
what you would need from us (assets, access, budget)
Out of scope: anything for companies that do not use Salesforce.
7. How to bid
Start your bid with the word TRANSLATE. Then answer, in your own words:
1. Your strategy: how would you get the first 10 customers for MCT and for JourneyVoice? Be
specific about channels and the first three steps.
2. A better ICP: who should we really target, and why? Role, company type and size, and the
trigger.
3. Your message: one sample outreach line or headline for each app.
4. Measurement: how you will judge success at 30 and 90 days.
5. Experience: Salesforce, AppExchange or B2B SaaS launches you have worked on, with links if
possible.
Generic templates and bids that skip these five points will not be read.
