I’m finalising the design of a lightweight, load-bearing slide-in truck camper and now need a mechanical/CAD specialist who knows RV design inside out. If you also happen to have trailer or general aluminum fabrication know-how, even better, but proven RV experience is what will let you hit the ground running.

The goal is a full set of manufacturing-ready drawings and files—far beyond attractive renders—so that my fabricator can start cutting, welding, and assembling without ambiguity. A licensed structural or mechanical engineer will review and stamp the package before fabrication, so clarity and accuracy are critical.

Deliverables
• Complete aluminum tube-frame drawings covering roof, floor, and sidewalls
• Exact tubing sizes, wall thicknesses, alloy grades, and dimensions for every member
• Clearly identified weld locations with weld symbols and specifications
• Corner jack mounts and reinforcement details
• Window, door, tank, battery, appliance, and equipment mounting points with loads noted
• Centre-of-gravity and overall weight calculations/annotations
• Individual cut lists for every tube and plate
• Exploded assembly views for the shop floor
• Digital CAD files (STEP and DWG) plus print-ready PDFs

If you’re comfortable taking a concept to a bolt-by-bolt, bead-by-bead build package, let’s collaborate—I’m ready to supply my sketches, preliminary models, and all measurements as soon as we start.
