Manual Text Data Entry Assistance

I have a collection of digital files that contain plain text which needs to be re-keyed accurately into a structured format. Everything will be handled through manual data entry—no scripts or automation—so keen attention to detail and consistent proofreading are critical.

You’ll receive the source files, along with a template (Excel/Google Sheet or Word table, whichever is easier for you) showing exactly where each field should go. My priority is clean, error-free transfer and faithful preservation of line breaks, punctuation, and any special characters present in the originals.

Deliverables:
• Completed template populated with all text from the supplied digital files
• Spot-check log noting any ambiguities or illegible segments you encounter
• One final pass for consistency after my review comments, if needed

If you’re comfortable working steadily, double-checking your own work, and turning around batches quickly, this will be a straightforward project with room for follow-on assignments.
