I’m building a small, India-based team of interns who can dedicate a full month at a time to hands-on, manual testing of our customer-facing web applications. The focus is entirely on manual testing; no automation scripts are required right now.
During each release cycle I will assign you user stories through Jira and give you access to our staging environment and BrowserStack. Your job is to explore every flow, record clear reproduction steps and attach screenshots or screen recordings for anything that breaks.
The three areas I need covered are:
• Functional testing – every feature must work exactly as described in the user story.
• Usability testing – note confusing layouts, unclear wording, or friction points.
• Regression testing – re-run previous test cases after each build to be sure nothing slipped.
Daily stand-ups happen on Slack; by end-of-day you’ll push updated test cases to TestRail and file any defects in Jira. I release payment at the close of each four-week cycle once the defect log and test-coverage report are complete and accepted.
If you are currently located in India, have a reliable internet connection, and can commit roughly 4-5 hours a day for an entire month, I’d love to hear how you approach manual QA and see a short sample bug report from a past project.
