I’m preparing for an upcoming release and want a fresh, methodical pair of eyes on the product. Your main objective is to carry out thorough manual QA, spot anything that could block or frustrate a user, and document each finding clearly in Jira (or a similar tracker).
Here’s what I’ll be looking for:
• Clearly written test cases and checklists
• Complete execution with screenshots or video evidence where relevant
• Well-structured bug reports that include steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, environment details, and severity
• Quick retesting of fixes until closure
The stack already has basic automation coverage, so your focus will be on exploratory, usability, regression, and edge-case scenarios that automation can miss. If you bring experience with cross-browser tools, mobile device farms, accessibility reviews, or performance probes, let me know—those skills will help us push quality even further.
Please share a concise note on the platforms you’re most comfortable testing, the issue trackers you’ve used, and one project where your manual insight made a measurable difference. I’ll shortlist and start with a small paid task so we can align on reporting style before expanding the scope.
