Manual Order Status Updates

I need a small, self-contained feature that lets me record and edit the status of any order by hand. The interface can be a lightweight web form or a simple script—whatever is quickest to deploy—so long as it:

• Accepts an Order ID, a status value, and an optional note
• Time-stamps the entry automatically and saves it to my existing database table (MySQL)
• Confirms the update on screen and logs basic errors (e.g., missing ID)

I’ll supply a sample table schema and credentials to a staging server once we start. Clean, well-commented code and a short read-me are all that’s required; a brief video demo would be a bonus. Let me know which language or framework you prefer so we can keep dependencies minimal.
