I have a collection of records sitting in a scanned-document database that need to be transcribed with care. Each record contains both text and numbers—names, addresses, dates, reference codes, and a few calculated values. Your task is to read every scanned page, enter the information accurately, and return two clean files:

• A well-structured Excel sheet for all numerical and sortable fields
• A matching Word document that mirrors the original layout for the text narrative

Accuracy is critical; a single typo in a reference code or total can cause downstream issues. I will provide the scans in batches, along with a simple field guide so you know exactly where each piece of data belongs in the spreadsheet and the document.

Before we move to the next batch, I’ll do a quick spot-check against the source scans. If everything aligns—correct formatting, no missing rows or columns, consistent fonts in Word—we’ll sign off and release the next set.

If you already work comfortably with data entry tools like Excel, Word, and basic image viewers or OCR helpers (optional, not required), this will be a straightforward but meticulous assignment. I’m ready to begin as soon as you are.
