About Prime Coalition
Prime Coalition is a nonprofit organization with a mission to bridge critical funding gaps to transform markets into a force for climate solutions. Prime Coalition envisions a world in which humanity thrives without the threat of climate change.
The world’s most complex social and environmental problems — like climate change — will often require the speed and scale of market-based solutions. In 2014, Prime Coalition and its growing coalition of visionary philanthropists began deploying catalytic capital alongside traditional grantmaking to mitigate global greenhouse gas emissions through early-stage technology innovation. Today, Prime Coalition knocks down barriers for philanthropists to deploy charitable capital into a broader set of untapped climate solutions. Our team’s deep philanthropy expertise and commitment to evidence-based assessment of impact and additionality guide philanthropists toward programs they can trust to enable climate change mitigation, adaptation, and resilience.
We see our respect for our teammates, planet, and communities as inexorably linked. How we treat one another and embody values in our lives and work is deeply important. We ground our work in our values of tenacity, humility, and care.
