I’m staging a short 5–10-minute scene for an upcoming indoor-theater production and need a male actor who can convincingly embody an elderly, emaciated very thin amost dying stroke victim. You will be brought on and offstage in a wheelchair, barely be able to speak much, and rely mainly on subtle physical presence—slight head, hand, and eye movements—to communicate the character’s condition.

We will meet the same afternoon you perform, so please arrive prepared to:

• Replicate the character’s gaunt look using your own makeup kit, following the reference photo I’ll provide in advance.
• Rehearse the blocking with me, including the wheelchair entrances and exits, and then move straight into the live run-through on stage.

Because dialogue is minimal, your focus should be on controlled physicality and facial expression suitable for a close-up theater audience. If you have prior experience portraying medical conditions or movement-restricted roles, highlight it when you respond. I’m eager to see how you bring this challenging part to life.
